Abirapro 500mg tablet is prescribed for:
- Metastatic prostate cancer (with prednisone)
- Hormone-refractory prostate cancer
Mechanism of Action
- Contains abiraterone acetate (CYP17 inhibitor)
- Blocks androgen production in testes/adrenals
- Slows prostate cancer progression
Dosage & Administration
- Standard dose: 500mg once daily
- Must be taken on empty stomach (1 hour before/2 hours after food)
