- Prescription cream for scabies treatment in adults and children (2+ months)
- OTC lotion for head lice elimination in adults and children (2+ months)
- Classified as a scabicide and pediculicide (kills mites and lice)
Application Methods
For Scabies (Cream):
- Apply thin layer from neck to toes, including skin folds and soles
- For infants/elderly: Include scalp, hairline, temples, forehead
- Leave on skin for 8-14 hours before washing off
- Repeat after 14 days if live mites persist
For Lice (Lotion):
- Wash hair with shampoo (no conditioner)
- Apply to damp hair, covering entire scalp
- Keep on for 10 minutes (use timer)
- Rinse thoroughly in sink (not shower)
- Comb out dead lice with fine-tooth comb
- Repeat after 7 days if live lice remain
Important Safety Instructions
- Avoid contact with eyes/nose/mouth/genitals
- If eye contact occurs: Rinse immediately with water
- Do not apply to eyebrows/eyelashes
- Wash hands thoroughly after application
- Sanitize all personal items (clothes, bedding, combs) in hot water
Special Notes
- Post-treatment itching doesn't indicate treatment failure
- May require multiple applications (observe for live pests)
- Use entire prescribed amount for full-body coverage
- Children/elderly may need assistance with application
