Description
For treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. Works by increasing penile blood flow during sexual stimulation.
Dosage & Administration
- Starting dose: 50mg taken 1 hour before sexual activity
- Dose range: 25-100mg as needed
- Max frequency: Once daily
- Take with/without food (avoid high-fat meals)
- Onset: 30-120 minutes
- Duration: 4-6 hours
Contraindications
Do NOT use if:
- Allergic to sildenafil
- Taking nitrates (including "poppers")
- Recent heart attack/stroke (<6 months)
- Severe heart/liver disease
- Retinitis pigmentosa
- Low blood pressure (<90/50 mmHg)
